[HK Bank] How do I withdraw funds by bank-securities transfer

1. What is Bank-Securities Transfer?

Bank-Securities Transfer refers to the fund transfer service between bank accounts and securities accounts. You can either transfer funds from the bank account directly to the Futu Securities account, or withdraw funds from Futu Securities account to the bank account.

With bank-securities transfer, you can transfer USD and HKD from and to China Merchants Bank Hong Kong Branch and China Minsheng Bank Hong Kong Branch, and HKD, USD, and CNH from and to Airstar Bank.

3. Setup of Bank-Securities Account Transfer

Activate the Bank-Securities Account Transfer service before withdrawing funds. For the detailed setup procedures, please refer to how to deposit by Bank-Securities account transfer.

 

4. China Merchants Bank, Hong Kong Branch Operational Guidelines

4.1 Operation through FUTU APP

FUTU App: Accounts > Any Account > Transfers > Withdraw

Select the currency and fill in the information:

BST only supports HKD or USD withdrawal, while CNH withdrawal is not supported yet.

Step 1: Select the currency of withdrawal;

Step 2: Select the bank of withdrawal as China Merchants Bank, Hong Kong Branch (BST);

Step 3: Enter the withdrawal amount;

Step 4: After confirming the information, click on Confirm.

 

5. China Minsheng Bank, Hong Kong Branch Operational Guidelines

5.1 Operation through FUTU App

Select the currency and fill in the information:

BST only supports HKD or USD withdrawal, while CNH withdrawal is not supported yet.

Step 1: Select the currency of withdrawal;

Step 2: Select the bank of withdrawal as China Minsheng Bank, Hong Kong Branch (BST);

Step 3: Enter the withdrawal amount;

Step 4: After confirming the information, click on Confirm.

5.2 Processing progress check

Withdrawal via Futu: "Accounts > Any Account > Tranfers > Withdraw > History" to check the processing progress

Withdrawal via China Minsheng Bank, Hong Kong Branch: "Bank Transfer - Bank Transfer History - Transaction Status" to check the processing progress.

 

6. Airstar Bank Operational Guidelines

Step 1: Go to the Accounts tab > Transfers > Withdraw

Step 2: Select the currency you want to withdraw

Step 3: Choose Airstar Bank as the receiving bank

Step 4: Enter the withdrawal amount

Step 5: Check that all information is correct, and tap Confirm

 

7. Arrival Time of withdrawal funds (Estimated time, subject to the actual arrival time)

Note:

1. Non-initial withdrawal of funds, or single amount over HKD 2,000,000/USD 300,000, requires manual approval and is expected to be completed by 16:00 on the trading day.

2. Due to security measures, your funds may arrive up to one hour later than anticipated.
