[HK Bank] Withdraw Funds via Bank-Securities Transfer to Airstar Bank

2. As banks do not operate during holidays and market closures, withdrawal processing time may be affected.

Instructions

You can withdraw funds in HKD, USD, and CNH via bank-securities transfer. Here are the steps:

1. Obtain Authorisation for Bank-Securities Transfer

Before you can withdraw funds via bank-securities transfer, you need to obtain authorisation from Airstar Bank. For more information, see this article.

2. Make a Withdrawal

To submit a withdrawal request in the app:

1. Go to the Accounts tab > Transfers > Withdraw

2. Select the currency you want to withdraw

3. Choose Airstar Bank as the receiving bank

4. Enter the withdrawal amount

5. Check that all information is correct, and tap Confirm

3. Estimated Arrival Time

3.1 Why can't a withdrawal via bank securities transfer be credited to my account in real time?

Due to the strict regulations of the Hong Kong market, as well as the service limitations of Hong Kong banks, bank-securities transfer between Futu and Airstar Bank requires funds settlement and approval. Therefore, real-time transfer is temporarily unavailable.

We will work to improve the bank-securities transfer process and strive for real-time arrival in the future. Nevertheless, bank-securities transfers are still much faster than ordinary online bank transfers.

3.2 What is the processing time for a withdrawal via bank-securities transfer?

1. The above arrival times are estimates and are subject to change.

2. A withdrawal exceeding 3 million HKD or 500,000 USD requires manual approval and is expected to be completed before 4:00 PM on a Hong Kong stock trading day.

3. A withdrawal exceeding 8 million HKD or 2 million USD may take one business day to complete. Please allow some time for your withdrawal to complete.
