How to prevent forced liquidation

● When your excess liquidity falls below 10%, FUTU HK will notify you through SMS, email, and app notifications. Please monitor market conditions and your asset status to ensure that your excess liquidity does not drop below 0, ensuring that your equity does not fall below the maintenance margin.

● When your equity falls below the maintenance margin, FUTU HK will notify you through SMS, email, and app notification. You can avoid forced liquidation by depositing funds or closing some of your open positions so that your account equity will remain above the maintenance margin requirement. Please note that FUTU HK reserves the right to force liquidate your positions at any time if the market fluctuates sharply.
