Futu to Distribute 450,000 Complimentary Covid-19 Rapid Test Kits, Registration Will Open at Noon on 11 March Donated 10 Millions and Teamed Up with Local Charities in Distributing 550,000 Rapid Test Kits

In view of the surging covid cases in Hong Kong has left a significant impact on various businesses and the society with declining livelihoods and the burden on citizens, Futu Securities International (Hong Kong) Limited (「Futu」 or the 「Company」), a leading tech-driven online brokerage and wealth management platform focusing on global investors, announces the Company has donated a  total of HK$10 million to 2 local charities and 1 million sets of rapid test kits to the general public. 400,000 sets of rapid test kits will be opened for registration from 12:00 noon on 11 March, registered citizens could pick up free rapid test kits via 9 moving trucks during 12 March to 25 March. There will be an extra 50,000 sets reserved for walk-in underprivileged who has difficulties in online registration. The other 550,000 sets were distributed to over 100,000 needy people through 5 local charities.

To relieve the high demand of home-testing kits, Futu will distribute 450,000 sets of complimentary rapid test kit to Hong Kong citizens during 12 March to 25 March 2022 from 11:00 – 20:00 in 9 locations across various districts. All Hong Kong citizens are welcomed to sign up on Futubull App, registration page will be available from 12:00 noon on 11 March. The first 100,000 successful registrations will each receive 4 free rapid test kits at the reserved time and location. The registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis. 

Futu teamed up with 7 local charities in providing relief to over 100,000 local citizens 

Futu has recently donated a total of HK$10 million to the Hong Kong Community Anti-Coronavirus Link (HKCACL) and Christian Family Service Center (CFSC) respectively in providing aid to those who were being impacted  during the pandemic. In addition, the other 550,000 free rapid test kits were distributed through 5 charities including, Christian & Missionary Alliance Social Services (CMASS), Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, The Chinese YMCA Hong Kong (YMCA), Caritas Mother Club and Caritas Family Service Aberdeen Centre, to send our support to alleviate the suffering of people during the pandemic, so as to safeguard their health and that of their families.
