About Margin Calls
Margin trading refers to the practice of buying securities with the funds borrowed from Futu, with the assets in your account as collateral, and paying the corresponding interest and fees.
Short selling occurs when you borrow securities from Futu, with your assets as collateral, and sell them, planning to buy back and return them later, and pay certain interest and fees.
