When your bank notifies you that a transfer has been "remitted", this only means the funds have left your bank account and does not indicate that the money has been received by Futu Securities. Once Futu receives the funds, they will go through settlement and approval before being credited to your account.
To ensure your deposit request is processed correctly, please submit a deposit notification in the Futubull App as soon as you complete the transfer (Bank-Securities Transfer and eDDA do not require a deposit notification). For details, click here.

eDDA Deposit supports HKD only. Funds usually arrive within 5 minutes.

For a Hong Kong local interbank remittance that is not an express transfer, the bank takes longer to process and funds usually arrive within 1–3 Hong Kong stock trading days. The exact time is determined by the bank.
Because the bank must process the cheque for credit, a cheque transfer usually takes 1–2 Hong Kong stock trading days to arrive; the exact time is determined by the bank's processing.
Cheque transfer supports deposits in HKD, USD and CNH.
For an international wire transfer / online banking transfer from outside Hong Kong, once the bank accepts it, the funds may pass through intermediary banks in stages before reaching the receiving bank's designated account. The bank therefore takes longer to process it and funds arrive more slowly, with an estimated arrival time of 3–5 Hong Kong stock trading days.
Futu will process the funds as soon as they are received, subject to the actual crediting notification time.
