What is Liquidate Last, and how does it affect forced liquidation?
When trading on margin, forced liquidation may occur if your Equity with Loan Value (ELV) falls below the maintenance margin requirement.
You can mark positions you want to keep longest as "Liquidate Last." These could be long-term holdings or positions you expect to profit from. During forced liquidation, we'll prioritize closing other positions first.
Note:
- "Liquidate Last" is a preference, not a guarantee. If necessary, the company reserves the right to liquidate any positions at its discretion based on your account's risk level.
- This setting doesn't apply when liquidation is triggered by Option Exercise Simulation.
