Trading and settlement rules

1. Trading rules

Singapore stocks support day trading (T+0). You can buy a stock (or short sell) on a trading day and sell it (or buy back) on the same day.

If investors realize they made a wrong decision after buying or short selling a stock, they can sell it (or buy it back) quickly to minimize risks and losses.

2. Settlement rules

The settlement date for Singapore stocks is two trading days (T+2) after the transaction date.
