B. Due to the COVID-2019 epidemic situation, please note the following new arrangement for the fund withdrawal.

For local banks of Hong Kong:

In response to the latest situation of the epidemic, withdrawal of funds through cheque will resume on 23 May 2022. If customers require expedited processing on withdrawing funds, they may contact online customer service and register for withdrawing funds to be remitted through CHATS. The handling fee (approximately HKD 25-150 or USD 8-20) shall be borne by the client.

1. If the receiving bank bound by the customer is Bank of China, HSBC or Hang Seng Bank, and the withdrawal of HKD, USD or RMB is initiated before 11:00 am of the business day, the funds will be remitted and expected to be received in afternoon of the same day. Generally, no handling fees will be charged by Bank.

2. If the receiving bank bound by the customer is ICBC (Asia), the withdrawal of HKD or RMB is initiated before 11:00 am of the business day, the funds will be remitted and expected to be received in afternoon of the same day. However, please note that withdrawal of USD will be remitted through cheque. If customers require expedited processing, they may contact online customer service and register for withdrawing funds through CHATS. The bank will charge a handling fee of about HKD 25 to 150 or USD 8 to 20 for each remittance.

3. If the receiving bank bound by the customer is other local banks in Hong Kong, and the withdrawal of funds below HKD 1 million or RMB 1 million is initiated before 11:00 am of the business day, the withdrawal method will be remitted by FPS, and it is expected to be received in the same day. Generally, no handling fees will be charged by Bank.

However, please note that if you withdraw funds over USD 1 million or HKD 1 million, the funds will be remitted by cheque. If customers require expedited processing, they may contact online customer service and register for withdrawing funds through CHATS. The bank will charge a handling fee of about HKD 25 to 150 or USD 8 to 20 for each remittance.
